Pronghorn Antilope Pronghorn Buck
Zuerst gibt es etwas Aufregendes am
Straßenrand zu sehen:  wilde amerikanische Pronghorn Antilopen (auch Gabelbock genannt)

First we have some Exitement at the edge of the Road:

... sind riesig, also darf Una auch mal fahren
... are huge, so Una does some driving too

Devils Tower in Wyoming
Devils Tower in North-Eastern Wyoming - Der Teufelsturm im Nordosten von Wyoming

Eine riesige Basaltsäule ragt in die Landschaft, war Schlußszene im Film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
A huge Basaltblock sticks out of the landscape, this rock was featured in the Film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"


Hier kann man die Basaltsäulen gut erkennen
Here one can see the basalt columns clearly

Der Bildhauer Gutzon Borglum hat diese Köpfe erschaffen
In der Stadt Keystone am  Fuße des Monuments are Karneval,  
Disney Land, und Western Stadt alles zusammen.  Kurz gesagt eine Touristenfalle
nach der anderen. Nichts für uns.

The town of Keystone at the foot of the Monument was one huge tourist trap.
A mixture of Western Saloon and Disney Land combined. Not our cup of tea.
So sieht der Berg aus etwas Entfernung aus.   That is the view of the Mountain from some Distance.
Next Stop: Buffalos und Cheyenne ....
  Weiter geht es hier zu den Büffeln
und nach Cheyenne ...
